Update About KPS Transition into GHO
KPS has transitioned its business and operations into Group Health Options, Inc. (GHO) at the end of 2015.
Both KPS and GHO are subsidiaries of Group Health Cooperative and share a commitment to providing high-quality choice plans and service. Combining the two companies into one will streamline health plan administration work, enhance member access, help keep costs in check, and better serve members for the long term.
KPS offered preferred provider organization (PPO) plans to employers, a Federal Employee Health Benefits Program and Medicare Supplement plans. KPS has served approximately 23,000 members throughout the state of Washington, with a significant percentage of members in Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson and Clallam counties.
KPS has mailed notifications to its providers and members to inform them of the transition.
