Create a Custom Directory
Custom Directory
Instructions

Enter
search specifications.
-
Click "Create Directory"
to open summary page of custom directory.

Click
"Create Directory."
-
When
prompted, either select "open" to open and print
the directory immediately, or select "save" to
save to your hard drive to be printed later.

When
you select "open" the file will automatically open
MS Word and display the directory file. You may then
print from Word as you would any other document.

To
return to KPS Custom Directories, either reduce or close
your Word window.
Custom
Directory Tips and Limitations

If you do not get the results you expect with a directory, try
returning to the search page and broadening your search by leaving
some fields blank. For example: try entering just the zip code,
instead of zip code and county name.

For
best results, you should be using either MS Explorer 5.0
and above, or Netscape 4.0 and above and MS Word
95 or above.

For
a complete listing of the KPS network in your area, you may want to also search the
First Choice Health Network (Washington, Idaho, Alaska and
Montana),
Providence
Network (Southwest Washington and parts of
Oregon) and MultiPlan
Network (nationwide) websites.
KPS Health Plans contracts with each of these networks for
statewide and nationwide coverage.

Remember:
when you save a directory to your desktop for printing
later, or for repeated use, it does not update automatically
as we update our provider data. For the most up-to-date, accurate list of providers,
regenerate a new custom
directory each time you need a new listing.
