Notice to all applicants KPS Health Plans is committed to the maximum utilization of all human resources and the goal of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action. The Company reaffirms this commitment annually to bring to the attention of all applicants for employment that these objectives are reflected in all aspects of our daily operations. KPS will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, or disabled or veteran status in all employment practices such as, but not limited to, the following: employment, advertising, layoff or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation and selection for training. The Company's Manager of
Human Resources also serves as the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
Coordinator. This individual is responsible for maintaining the
necessary programs, records, and reports to comply with all government
regulations, including the maintenance of monitoring procedures for our
policy objectives. Our Affirmative Action programs may be reviewed by
employees and applicants Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in
the Human Resources Department, by contacting the EEO Coordinator at
360-415-6533. Additionally, applicants wishing to self-identify as a
Vietnam Era Veteran, a disabled Veteran, or an individual with a
disability are invited to do so by contacting the EEO Coordinator. KPS Health Plans follows the criteria listed below to determine if an individual meets the definition of applicant (including "internet" applicant) in compliance with the OFCCP guidelines.
When the three criteria are met, Human Resources forwards resumes for the qualified candidates to the hiring manager. Human Resources will not forward nonqualified resumes to hiring manager as they are not considered "applicants" under the definition above. An applicant continues to be an applicant (as defined by OFCCP) throughout the process unless the individual, prior to receiving an offer of employment, removes him/herself from further consideration or otherwise indicates that he or she is no longer interested in the position.
